3 DAYS UGANDA GORILLA EXPERIENCE SAFARI

This 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Experience Safari takes to Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park which is one of the most visited parks in Uganda. As a matter of fact, this is one of the 3 parks in the world that harbors the mountain gorillas. Apart from the mountain gorillas, the park also hosts animals such as primates as well as different bird species. Besides, the park has got different activities that can be done like gorilla trekking, bird watching, nature walks, among others. During your safari, you will do gorilla trekking and also get exposed to the Batwa culture as they take your through their cultural practices. But before heading to the park, you will have a stopover at the Uganda equator for some equatorial experiments since Uganda is one of the few countries crossed by the equator line.

Day 1: Depart Entebbe/Kampala-Equator Experience-Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will be welcomed by one of our representatives and later start off your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This park is famous for hosting half of the world’s mountain gorillas and 1 of the 3 parks in the world where mountain gorilla trekking is done. You will have your first stop over at the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe along Kampala-Masaka highway for the equator moments. This place is where an imaginary line crosses the earth into two equal parts and here, you will get a chance to carry out different experiences and take some photos for memories. Afterwards, you will continue with your journey, enroute Mbarara town for your lunch before heading to Bwindi Impenetrable national park where you will check in into your accommodation.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking-Batwa cultural encounter

Early in the morning after your breakfast, you will be driven up to the park headquarter where you be briefed about the dos and don’ts during gorilla trekking. Afterwards, you will be guided into the forest trials by an armed experienced ranger in search of these great apes. This activity will basically give you a chance of seeing these cousins of ours in their natural habitat carrying out their different activities like mothers breastfeeding and juveniles jumping from one tree to another. During the magical hour in their presence, you will be allowed to take flash less photos and videos for memories. You will then head back to the headquarters where you will be awarded with a gorilla trekking certificate and later, back to your accommodation for lunch. Later, in the evening, you will visit the joyful Batwa people who were once natives in the forest and lived in harmony with the gorillas. During this interesting, you will have a chance to have a great insight into the African culture like fire making, cultural dance and also listen to the good sounds of fork songs. After this wonderful activity head back to your lodger for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Travel back to Kampala/Entebbe

Since this is the last day of your 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Experience Safari, you will check out of your lodge and travel back to Kampala/Entebbe.
