This safari will take you to one of Uganda’s savannah parks located in Mbarara also known as the Land of milk and honey. This is basically Uganda’s smallest savannah park and known for its highest concentration of zebras. In addition, the Park harbors over 68 mammal species, over 315 bird species and different activities to enjoy. You will start your journey with a stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre for the Ankole cultural experience. While in the park, you will do different activities such as games, mountain biking and windup your safari with a visit at the Uganda Equator.
You will be picked by your driver after an early morning breakfast and then start your journey to Mbarara. You will firstly have a stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre where you will visit the Ankole kingdom museum and learn about the history and cultural of Ankole. Thereafter, you will head to your lodge for lunch and later check in your lodge.

Meal: Full board
After having your morning breakfast, you will go for a 2hrs Mountain biking activity. You will first be briefed and later guided by an armed ranger who ensures safety and then ride through the safe route of the park. While here, you will encounter different animals like zebras, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, impalas among others. Later you will head for a game drive, viewing different animal species like the zebras, impalas, elands, topis, oribis, waterbucks, reedbucks, hyenas, leopards (although not easy to spot).

Have your breakfast, check-out of the lodge and start on your journey back to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the Uganda Equator for different equator experiments and photography. Later you will embark on your journey back to Kampala.
